Mrs. Gretchen Nelson

We would like to welcome our new computer and library teacher, Mrs. Nelson.  Are you eager to meet her?  Here are some cool facts about her.

Mrs. Nelson was born in West Field, Mass.  She wanted to be a Mom and youth Pastor’s wife when she grew up because she loved kids and loved her youth group and her youth teachers.  Her favorite subject in school was math because she could tell if her answers were right or wrong.  Her least favorite subject in school was history and science because she thought they weren’t interesting.

When she became older she got married to a man named Mark the youth pastor at North and had four girls. Their names are Brooke, Kaleigh, Taylor, and Paige.  They all attend North Baptist Christian School.  Their family has a dog named Shiloh.

When Mrs. Nelson has free time she likes to read and enjoys the outdoors.  One of her favorite books are The Blue Bottleclue by Penelope Stokes because the book is energizing and a great story.  Also in her free time she likes to spend time with her family and watch movies.  Her favorite movies are Father of the Bride 1 and 2 and the Bourne Series.  Her favorite sports to participate in are soccer and basketball.  She likes to watch tennis.

She is looking forward to getting to know her new students and seeing her daughters and their friends more.

If you ever want to take Mrs. Nelson out for lunch take her to a Chinese place because that is her favorite food.  Also if you get her a gift, wrap the gift in blue paper because that’s her favorite color.

I think Mrs. Nelson will be a great library/computer teacher!!
